It feels like fall in Georgia, but that's not the only weird thing going on. The market is going up much faster then normal, but holding on to this train might hurt those waiting until next year to see even higher Atlanta home values. The one thing that could change the value situation in the Atlanta Real Estate market is new construction.
Trilogy Park, a popular neighborhood in Hoschton, has started building as well a the Grove at Hamilton Mill is finishing off a phase. These two neighborhoods are siphoning off the homes sales in the Mill Creek district.
So what is good news for the county and the state, could be bad news for home sellers waiting for the market to continue to go up. In 11 years of real estate, I've never seen a seller's market like this one and its time is up as soon as more and more seller's hit the market. There's nothing quite as disheartening as competing with a professional seller (a builder).
The remedy would get that home on the market. If you're curious as to your home value, simply go here and get a free home evaluation.
